Microsilica

 

Stromex LLC carries out regular deliveries of microsilica of the MKU-95 and MK-95 brands.

 

Microsilica (silica fume) condensed compacted MKU-95 and uncompacted MK-95 is an ultrafine material obtained in the process of gas purification of technological furnaces in the production of silicon and ferrosilicon. The main component of the material is amorphous silicon dioxide. Microsilica, which has high pozzolan activity and refractory properties, is used as a component in the production of dry building mixes and concretes with high performance properties to increase strength, water resistance and corrosion resistance.

 

 

 

 

Microsilica is used in the following areas of production:

  • Construction: additives for high-strength, water-resistant, corrosion-resistant concrete and dry mixes;
  • Metallurgical industry: production of refractory products;
  • Oil and gas production complex: fillers and weights for drilling and grouting solutions.
